I can't find any "steamemu.ini" files in HL1Engine folder.I unhide all files & folders. but i can't find "steamemu.ini" file. wat can i do now.

i must have selected to show SYSTEM files too. or try in explorer path write "<your HL1Engine path>\steamemu.ini"

I thought Universal Steam Launcher runs extracted games only?

There are functions missing in the old steam Emus that wont allow some games from Red Orchestra onwards to run (SteamCountryPurchase function springs to mind - or something like that)

Are you saying there is a USL that runs games from GCF?


I thought it did, but i as wrong. is there any stream GCF Launcher that runs these games?

Ah, ok :(

Nope, I don't think there's anyone actively working on an updated emulator at the moment - I've never seen any working source code for one, and its not something you would want to start from scratch in your spare time :D

If there was source kicking around for the last SteamEmu it may be worth someone trying to update it, I don't think there are that many new function calls being used at the moment.

propably there are only 2 missing functions and theres no emulator that can run those games by gcfs.

btw someone have source code of emulator that use gcf files?

Sorry SASIO, Extremly sorry for that post. :roll: Its my fault.

As u say I replace that code. After that when i start CS 1.6 it gives fatal error "W_LoadWadFile : coudn't load gfx.wad" I put gfx.wad file into "HL1Engine\cstrike" folder.
After that it gives another fatal error "couldn't find decals.wad in DEFAULT GAME search path"

wat can i do now?

lol now i know wtf is wrong (shity spaces)

after copy from CODE paste it and remove form every line SPACE. PM me if you have problems with that.

powiem wiecej po polsku :D masz Sp2 ? zainstalowac Biblilteke VC++ ktora podalem na pierwszej stronie? i powiedz jeszcze kiedy masz problemy gdy wlaczasz czy grasz.
