Fix for "authorisation library" error for HL1 games. 1) Use GCFscape to open "half-life engine.gcf" 2) Extract the following files to the "HL1Engine" folder: steamclient.dll tier0_s.dll vstdlib_s.dll Hope that helps guys. To SASIO: Does this problem have anything to do with the "copy GCFs engine files to install directory" option in your installer? I did not check this option. |

Hey thanks, just what I was looking for. Just a general question here, how do I uninstall mods, both hl1 and hl2. Orriginally I was just going to delete the folder and then the shortcut but my gut tells me it's not the right thing to do. Any ideas? |

soon there will be new version with HL1 games fix. My mistake for this problem. sorry. 
259 beeter way will be that you send me file "gameinfo.txt" of those games. if you can. The hotdog man this is not thebest option but i cant see other  .... for now.

I'm trying to play Garry's mod 9.04 over LAN with my friend. To get GM working I used Cuesteam to get HL2, HL:DM and CS:S. I can play single player with CueSteam but not multiplayer. So i tried Steam Buster but after I installed all my games and mods in there and started Garry's mod I get an error "Engine Error: Extra App ID set to 320, but no SteamAppId." My friend got the exact same error. So do any of you here know some solution that I coud try or could you recommend me some other way to get GM to work over LAN? |

OK i fixed, you must open the Source Dedicated Server at Tools on your normal Steam. And then the directory will be created... Close it and go to "C:\Archivos de programa\Steam\SteamApps\********************************************\source dedicated server" and copy the file "srcds.exe" and paste it to: "C:\Archivos de programa\Steam Offline (SteamBuster)\HL2Engine\source dedicated server" Thats all, check the path of the SteamBuster is the location where you installed, not mine, n00bs. With this you can play on LAN, if you opened the Source Dedicated Server before installing SteamBuster, you will not have this problem so you don't have to read this post and fuck n00bs playing...

Alright, hl1 now works. Now when I installed the substance mod for hl2 in the mods display it didn't have it's name just a blank entry. The shortcut also didn't have a name on it though substance loaded up fine. Is there any way to fix that? |
