Without launcher.ini I can see my games too but when I try to run them, they crash.

i´ve got a question: i actually bought the "source multiplayer pack" for 25,-€, so not too much for 3 games 
but i hate this damn steam and i want continue to use steamrip, cause its works much better than steam  and even on my servers i´m playin
but i don´t know if its safe to use steamrip, cause i don´t want that steam/valve will bann or disable my legal steam account, because of ip or something... so can i further use steamrip without any risk? thx 4 answer! |

yo... i get this error... any ideas what could be causing it? dod gcf up2date (dec23) steamrip 2.23 (clean extract) :EDIT: problem solved... turns out it was ...\SteamRip\hl2\dod\bin\client.dll used old dll from 2.22... works now, pz |

hi ive only steamrip 2.23 and i want to play css and hl2 so i started steamrip and set the gfc folder to this: c:\programme\valve\steam\steamapps i dont know what i have to do with the game path what is that??? and steamrip has no game in the list so i coulndt play on the servers what can i do? thx |

ive been using steamrip2.20 for the past 4days and ive been able to play cs:s on legit legal servers with no problem at all. now when i tried to run cs:s today, it launches teh game and then it loads like always and then the screen just goes white. if i move the mouse around to where the cs:s menu would usually be, you can hear the clickin sounds and all that stuff. so basically, everything is there and working but a with a white screen that doesnt let you see anything. dont know why this is happening. but i'm downloadin 2.23 to see what happens. |

mhh everything works except for halflife 1 deathmatch (not classic) when i start there's: Failed to open GCF archive: C:/Steamrip/Steamrip 1/half-life.gcf make sure its avaible and decrypted i have all gcfs in one folder and cs 1.6 works... |
