Download Peer Guardian from
http://phoenixlabs.org/pg2/
When i run peer guardian with all lists updated i can join VAC2 Servers
anytime on the 2nd Attempt. If i dont run it i cant join it at all.
Tested it alot and it doesnt look like "luck". Maybe it stresses my connection so much , or it blocks the auth servers.
Well try yourself , it works for me.
Edit : Tested with firesteam

Cant speak for you , but for me it does.
If i have it "Disabled" i tried connecting 20 times and doesnt work, if i enable it i connect 2 times , and i am in.
Enable it when you see the serverlist , or it will prolly say "Connection to Vac 2 Servers failed"

This Program PeerGuardian Blocks All FTP,HTTP Ports coming into your pc,
which means Valve cant send you the server list because it runs through a HTTP port,
only way to work it is by unblocking HTTP and enabling peerguardian
but still you get the error
so this is just a way to get the program,
its not usefull

well it works for me. And it doesnt block ALL transfer.
I am just starting the game , going to serverlist , tab out enable it , join the server , first attempt to join Own Error, second attempt lets me in. And i have it Enabled with all the default lists.

Actually this work.
1. You must have a legal account
2. Open CS 1.6 and get the severs
3. Windows, and enable PerrGuardian 2
4. I tried to conn. 5 different servers 5-10 times, i came into 1 after that.
