I have used this method for about a week now, first you need to have peerguardian enabled when you join a server. But when you entered a game press ALT+TAB and disable it or else a connection error will come after a few minutes of playing... |

Yeah it works, i have tested it with hl1 & hl2 based games. Some people say the authentification servers are down.Are they? I dont think so, if they would be down, you would not need AppZ like Peer Gurdian. |

What is the ip and port number outgoing to the auth servers? If we know what it is we can maybe block it and play online forever.. |

i got this ip from PeerGuardian: 207.173.177.130:27042 And the ip from Alex1605: 84.143.190.56 Without an port. I think the port is 27042. Well, Lets change the HOSTS file from windows

Nope, Just add the 2 ip's of the authservers in Peer Guardian. Peer Guardian will block the connection and your done
