yeah i know you can do that, but when you do it that way, certain things just dont load for some reason, like the title, some music, and other random things..
but anyway can you answer my first question please?

You need the gcf files postet on the first page. Then you need garry mod, and this crack. Butr nevermind: In never played Garrys mod with this Version. The only time i was able to start the game, i was not able to host or join Servers, alwas this shit crashes. Now i even cant install it, fucking game crashes directly after starting, and don´t gives any error information. The Documentation is to bad too. Well write 2 fucking files is easy gcfdir=E:\Games\Steam\Steamapps starter=1 and then after first boot starter= But this Version is Outdated, not playable for me, and this toffee-nosed Author wont update it: Quote: ... Either your GCFs are not updated or you didn't install Garry's Mod to the correct folder (it does NOT go in the SourceMods folder). I'm pretty sure one of those things is the problem. Garry's Mod 9.0.4b is the LATEST VERSION. There is NO newer version. THERE IS NO NEED FOR AN UPDATE. I said that if people are saying stupid shit, not providing enough information for me to help them, I'll just fucking quit. All I'm doing is releasing this so people can use it. I asked you for a screenshot of what you're doing a while back, but you refused. If you don't provide me enough information, I can't help you. Toffee-nosed? I'm not your fucking slave, asshole. |

Hey man the crack works like a charm.. took a bit to figure out where to place the gmod9 installation. (its not set up any different than halflife or Counterstrike, it acts like its own game) but anyways, how did you make this off the crack360 engine? Did crack360 come with something that you could have reference for making your own crack? and in order to make a crack such as this, do you need to have "years of cracking experience" as some people say? because i was wondering so i could try and make ones for later versions of Gmod when they are released... and also i really want a crack360 engine crack for Half Life 2: Smod. |

You can play Smod with crack360. Just get it setup for Half-Life 2, install smod into the half-life 2 folder, and make your cfg.ini look like this: [cfg] game=smod ... |

@bug.meh.not sorry for my post, but im a litte pissed off, because every time garysmod makes errors. I didn´t post pictures, because Garrys Mod works at this time. But now the next errors come, after i reinstalled complete steam and gcf files. It´s just not installed here, but i will do this tomorrow and make pictures from every Folder. I installed it the same way any time. But one time the error was that i could not join server, but harder i wasn´t able to host servers. And the last time the Error was that Garrys Mod quitted after the bootscreen, without any error message. And a new Source engine gcf is out, so i sayed outdated version. Because the error of not starting comes after the new sourceengine.gcf But i will make pictures tomorrow and apply them to this post. And the error that comes tomorrow ^^ Quote: Toffee-nosed? Do you know what toffe-nosed means? It means People that think they are better then others, and let it feel the others. But if the translation is wrong, sorry<, i found it with a translation engine. No reason to use badwords. |

hey so to make this work, all i should do is download crack360.. follow instructions there, then download the gmod 9.0 4b and install it in the crack 360 folder then it should work on legit servers too? thx |

Im not sure about support for legit servers though, but that is how you would get it up and running. |

Finally, after about a weeks struggle i got Garry`s mod to work.. nearly ='( I get to the menu, but cant Start singleplayer game, cant Create server... and theres no servers to join as i get "steam validation rejected" on EVERY server i try =( And when i press the Start Singleplayer Game, the console says: Unknown command "showspmenu" *Edit* Got it working so no more problems =) I forgot to put some folders in the Gmod9 folder =) Thx all who helped =) =) =) =) |
