How do i create a GCF version of cs 1.6? I used steam-buster but the folder i install cs 1.6 to is empty. Is their a steam.dll that you can put in the same folder as hl.exe to plat the game offline with GCF like u can with steamemu and hl2.exe? |

Another update... 
Little bug: if you don't have the HD gcf and you install you get error when you try to run games: Failed to open GCF archive: C:\blablabla\half-life high definition.gcf", make sure its available bla bla . It's possible that not all people want the improvement of HD Pack or maybe they don't have the pack

This program is realy great. Belive me. I tryed it and gave it to my friends. But the problem here is that there are too many stickyes. And only the most popular can be in them. Steam Buster is as good as crack360, unilauncher, steam-down, nsd, etc. But it's not popular. U have to attract more ppl to use it |

SASIO, great program. I was using crack360 (good crack, but no installer) before but since your program has an installer it means I can burn it and the GCF's to DVD, without having to create my own installer for crack360. (I don't have Internet access at home and so I get Steam to download and validate at work). A few suggestions 1. When you browse for the GCF directory and click the cancel button the program says its missing GCF's instead of doing nothing. (This is just me knit picking!!!). 2. In the installer it would be nice if I could choose the destination of the 'Start' menu folder rather than having to move it manually later. 3. Could the 'Start' menu be modified to the below please as I find it easier to use, and I am sure others will. Start -> Steam Buster -> Half-Life 2 -> All HL2 games here -> Settings Start -> Steam Buster ->Half-Life 1-> All HL1 games here -> Settings I believe that it is a more logical grouping of the programs. Don’t get me wrong I think your program is great, and I know I am not really reporting bugs, I just think that these few usability changes will make your program even easier to use. Once again thanks, you saved me from making my own version

Oh and one more thing, when I try and run HL2DM I get the following error. gameinfo.txt doesn't exist in hl2mp. I tried looking in the directory that i think its refering to 'E:\Games\HL2\HL2Engine\half-life 2 deathmatch\hl2mp' and it is empty. |
