only a question: I have downloaded the half life 2 gcf, but I saved them on a steamapps folder on the desktop. now I want to change their directory, under the steamapps folder of star-steam under c:\games. If I do this, stare-steam won't recognize the new path, otherwise yes - what can I do? |

Ok. I am new to the CSS Cracking system. I just downloaded star steam and was in the process of installing the GCF's for Counter-Strike: Source when I get an error message saying that the Steam servers are too busy at this time. I also am getting this message when I try to install Half-Life and the old CS. However, when I update HL2, it seems to work fine. I am slightly confused and have been searching for a complete set of GCF's for CSS for a while on this site now and haven't been able to find any links that are still active. Can anyone help me? Thanks. |

hello everyone.well.the problem is with that steam-star.y will say what's happening.y instaled garry's mod in star-steam.y wait 800 minutes to play.y was believeing it was for he needs half life 2.y download too.the half life 2 works but the garry's mod when y put launcher says me this: mountfilesystem{241}failed:steammountfilesystem{1852.241.0x135ffd0c}failed with error 5:no steam content servers are available. that says all the times y want to run the program.you have any solutions for this |

hi, there's one problem with SDK. When i try to run a map , i cant test it because when it loads i get error like "your account dont own this game .." or something. Also i get this error when i try to start a map from console by typing "map .." command. |

7 days ago i got star-steam working with HL2 HL2:EP1 CS 1.6 CSS CS:CZ HL HL:Blue Shift Opposing Force Rag Doll Kung Foo Team Fortress Classic Ricochet HL2:DM HL:Source HLDM:Source DoD DoD:Source Deathmatch Classic And Codename Gordan Razz for about 1 month i used non-steam cs 1.6 but got annoyed with it becuase i couldant get any decent servers 50% of the ones in fryguys massive list were not responding and nearly all the rest were full/empty i deleted it and stopped using it then 2 days ago i became bored of Gunz Online (a great game) and Americas Army. and i thought what game can i buy??? oh yer HL/CS own!!!, oh hang on i dont have that kind of cash SadSad, wait... what was that amazing site about cracked cs and steam??? oh yer www.cs.rin.ru. ANYWAY THAT WAS EXTREMLY OFF-TOPIC ok lets dl some non-steam games again maybe there are more servers now... wow source games are big... hold on whats this cracked steam with all games!!! sounds good. so i dl star-steam and start a few games dlin.. OMFG 2.4KBS Surprised this will take forever. lucky for me i turned on the pc at 7am before skl (im UK btw) and thank heavens CS 1.6 is updating at 600kbs and is finished within a hour. unfortunatley i had to get to skl so i left my pc dlin games on steam. i come home and keep dlin to 8pm and wow all those games mentioned at the beginning are 50%. anyway repeat the morning the next day and come home and they are all 100% i couldant belive it i thought surely they wont work but they did. ANYWAY THAT WAS EXTREMLY OFF-TOPIC (again Twisted Evil ) ok now to the reason i am posting. i spend about 1 hour gathering servers, i found a great list of servers for all games (css.setti.info Sever List) and started adding servers (i have about 15 good ones for all games) now this is DEFINATLEY a craked server list but 50% of times it gives the common error: you have been disconected from the server: this steam account does not own this game please login to the correct account. when trying to connect to a cracked server. sometimes i can go to the normal list of servers (the cracked ones are in my favorites (i use the normal serverbrowser.vdf)) and click any server and 50% of the time it will join, yesterday i could connect to a certain legit server (i dont remeber what it was called) but today i tried to connect to the same one (i added to favorites) but i got the error. now i know what your thinking (STFU n00b the auth servers where down) but unless they were up or down for a week straight (very unlikely) i rly wanna kno if anyone has any idea whats going on because its werid, it might be useful and its annoying. hope that wasent to long and i hope i dont get flamed for off topic |

Anybody knows how to remove the beta games from star steam??? I yould greatly apreciate some help with that info! or has anyone got the steamui.dll without the beta games enabled. I just don't want to see the beta and the test apps in star steam! please |
