How do i launch episode 1 from star-steam(offline) star-steam doesnt start in offline mode amd every time i need to play hl2,ep1 i need to connect online to launch the game from star-steam. plus there are no executable like hlep1.exe it runs from hl2.exe but whats the commandline parameter in the shortcut to launch ep1? plaese tell the shortcuts for other games as well. no launchers if u r not sure,tried them. error on offline mode: "steam.exe(main exception):unable to start steam engine....................................failed to connect to any generaldirectory server,winsocj\k error 10065.........." |

It's not some lame request or anything. Just a question I don't have answered after using the search feature countless # of times. I read pacmans thing on which GCF's can be downloaded ,can't be, can't be launched etc...and I want to know ... Is it possible to get the .GCF for Sin 1 emergence and use star steam to launch? Or is it one of those special games where you NEED..AND Must have stand alone to play / download? ? ? I'm confused..any help is appreciated Thank you all. |

Yah im having some problems with EP1 as well.. I have both the GCF's needed to play and i can launch the game, but about 2min into the game the voices vut out and i cant progress any further into the level... anyone know what the problem is??? Im going to download this offline torrent but it would be nice to see if icould have it from the star-steam app |

I downloaded RO from real accnt..put in Starsteam (which shows its installed but with no 100%)...I load it..and it says Game Unavaliable when I downloaded a legit .gcf and transfered both .gcfs.. =( help thnk u |
