Ok, guys, if your going to torrent these, make sure you compress them with UHARC. UHARC has a nice windows gui which you can use to make self extracting archives for it, and in my experience, ive been able to melt down a 12 gig steam cache to fit on a single DVD with it.

SAVE YOUR BANDWITH AND TAKE THE TIME.

Today i will compress HL2 + the needed GCF's with KGB Archiver at hypercompressing. Then i will release it on the tracker ;)

7z compresses good, too.
But 7z is newer and has a faster algorithm and results have approximately the same size (sometimes smaller, sometimes bigger, the difference isn't big).

The issues isnt what compression to use but rather to have the uplaoders keep there client up to seed the files.

Ok, their up, but where the hell are the torrents for them???

I'll dload and seed rag doll kung fu (can only seed for about 8 hours a day (well night (12-8) though, i use my laptop at work see) if ya post them.

that's for real nubs...use the torrentbits one..the one that torrentbytes, torrenit (used to :( :( :( :( , BREIN is screwing with them...) torrentleech use...

I am actually work on my own frontend and will use an existing C++ backend. But im not going to spend much time on it until i find out that people like this and use thing. I uses BNBT becuase it was super quick to set up.

it takes 30 mins to set up the 'proffesional' one...if u give me ftp access, a mysql db, and phpmyadmin access, i can do it for ya...
