aint working for me... all it says is "the cd key you've entered is not valid" Doesnt really surprise me... Did you use the method posted recently here in the forum to program this cd-key? Cuz if you did, one of a million keys in there "might" be valid 
have fun trying - Id use that time an work for the money to buy the games
ps: were you (or anybody) actually able to activate a key? |

@ReXBR: I think this is because you tried too many keys, maybe a protection against overloading the auth servers. This just means the key is invalid or (best case) duplicate. 
Somebody needs to make a program that tries out every key there is and automatically tries to register it with Steam. Maybe you could get a key after 1 year of trying (or being veeery lucky)!

i tried a couple more hl1 keys and it seems that (for the algorithm part) most keys are valid if you try all the numbers from 0-9 for the last digit. But when he tries to check it, it mostly says "the key you entered does not seem to be valid". What my guess is, that everytime you enter a key, it checks the algorithm first, and if it is correct, it checks with the steam database or so. So we need to find a key which is valid in both ways. all i got is the same "subsciption pending error" ima wait a while and see what'll happen... |
