on this you install metamod here:

C:\Program Files\Valve\CStrike\addons\metamod

or whatever drive you have CS 1.6 non steam installed.

and for amx here:

C:\Program Files\Valve\CStrike\addons\amx

where you downloaded the non steam version from there are some servers there. give those a try.

Is there any way to play Day of Defeat (current Steam version 1.1) with the CS downloaded from your web? I've already played CS and I'm very satisfied with the result. It's a great patching/cracking, and I wish it could be done the same to DoD.

If you know any web page that tells you how to do so, please, write...

hey can anyone help me out with this problem ?
when i start the downloaded no steam CS comes the error:
"SteamStartup(0xf,0x13fb60) failed with error 108: The local Steam Service is not running! "

hi,im kindda new around so ill put it in short words : dwnloaded no steam version, downloaded the update but it reaquires a key whos like 25 char long or smthn ;(. I also have original CD with original CD-key but no internet connection at home. Please help someone who encountered same problem. Ty !

hey wtf. i downloaded the non steam CS 1.6 version6, and now then i connect to server a message appears that says: server is using older protocol. wtf is going on?
