SASIO - many thanks for your continued help to the community - this is a really nice and easy solution to use. :D

I do however have one problem. With this latest Alpha release I get a windows exception error when loading SBRev *if* and only *if* Half Life 2 is installed. If I uninstall it then everything else works fine.

Just to clarify: I have all the games, they all install and work perfectly until I install Half Life 2 - at which point SBRev will crash on loading. You can ok the errors and get to the menu - but the menu is empty. Uninstalling Half Life 2 allows SBRev to perform normally again with the menu fully populated and all the other games working as expected.

I am running this on Windows x64 Pro - which may be the problem, however, the previous Alpha release was working fine with Half Life 2. I am also just running the English GCFs.

Let me know if you want any more info on this.

Thanks for all your help and support - and please do keep up the good work!

*Edit* Just reinstalled it to get more error info:

just found a "small" bug...

Deleting a mod (in my case gmod9) causes the whole user folder to be deleted!!!

Thanks for the quick work (as usual) :D

I've just tested it with Half-Life 2 and sadly it's still the same for me.

Do you want me to try and uninstall everything and start from scratch?

*EDIT*
More Info:
I uninstalled everything and launched SBREV and just installed Half-Life 2 - which worked perfectly! Then when I installed Half-Life, I started getting the error again. So it looks like I can either have Half-Life 2 on its own *or* everything else!

thanks for the speedy reply..however i still get the same error..it seems hl2 will only run on its own with nothing else installed, because as soon as you install other games, it starts crashing

SASIO - I'm not running any mods at all, this is just a fresh install of everything in the SBREV list.

I tried your latest build - but still no go i'm afraid

*EDIT*

Maybe more info for you: With just Half-Life 2 Installed, SBREV startsup and plays the game ok, but clicking on either change user or settings in the file menu causes SBREV to crash again with this error:

*GOT IT WORKING - EDIT - GOT IT WORKING*
Thanks for the clue SASIO :D I installed Garrys mod into my sourcemods and now everything works fine - so I think the problem only occurs if there are *NO* Half-Life 2 mods installed.

Many thanks SASIO, I hope you can enjoy your holiday in peace now 8)

Safe for a few crashes and C++ Runtime errors, the program is working great. However, it seems unable to launch foreign languages for Half Life 2 Episode 1; the text appears in the correct language (all lines, but the first "loading" -- in fact, this one word is only translated on HL2 --, that mysteriously stays in English, but I admit I can live with it :P ), but the wrong voices keep being played.
So far, it happens with the French version (for the record, the extra file for the French is named "half-life 2 episode one french.gcf"); I have yet to test other languages.
And it could be me, but I can't seem to find the Media field (where one could launch trailers, teasers, and whatnot). Again, not a big deal, the program is already amazing, particularly when you think it's only in an alpha state. 8)
