hCUPa emulator must stay on its place becouse yes, sbrev is "hard-coded" to use it. But what exacly is Your problem? What does not work? Hmm maybe try to remove sbrev.ini file and configure sbrev again, then check everything. |

Its main executable looks in the steam folder for the dlls. (In order for it to work with revemu, schmelle supplied his own replacement executable.) |

There is one unresolved issue I have with SBReV of which I wish to address. SBReV is an all around excellent program, but for some reason, despite the "Add GCF file to use with game" feature that I attempt to use, the feature doesn't work, for me at least. For example, I specify to SBReV that I want to install "Half-Life 2". Works just fine, no problem, and I can load and play the game using the default required GCF files that are checked and colored gray in the properties dialog of the GCF files menu for Half-Life 2. However, I also wish to add the following GCF files to "Half-Life 2" which should work with HL2: "source engine 64-bit.gcf";"source lv.gcf". So I check their appropriate boxes of course, load the game, but no change. I try reinstalling the application, but no change. Now, I know when HL2 is running in 64-bit mode because a small, tab indicator at the top of the screen will say "64-bit mode enabled" or something like that. I also inspected the "sbrev.ini" file which does list the added GCF files that I specify, but again, nothing happens. So, my question becomes, how do I get the added GCF files that I specify to really work and be used when a game is executed? NOTE: I did first attempt to investigate this specific matter by searching this message board as best I could and searching the internet via Google, before writing this post. I could not find anything. |

SASiO wrote: STEAM-BUSTER ReVolution OrangeBox 2. REVOLUTiON Emulator support Some people might not noticed Final version changes, well the new version include "partial" support of "REVOLUTiON Emulator". The GUI itself does not inform You about that and theres no any option to enable it via interface, they reason is simple - its just experimental feature. Anyway to make it working/enabled You have follow few simple steps: 1. Go to SBReV installation directory and then proceed to "Resources\Emulator" path. In this directory there is folder named "ReV" which contain all files required to support "REVOLUTiON Emulator" (including "ClientRegistry.blob") 2. You might want to update the emulator files so just copy new files over old one. 3. We are still in "Resources\Emulator" path, this folder contain also file "Emulator.ini" which hold custom emulator support configuration for SBReV (for default there are "REVOLUTiON Emulator" settings) 4. Well everything seems to be done but one thing left, open the "Emulator.ini" file and uncomment every line of it. (remove "#" char). For xxample we have line contains "#EmuPath=ReV" then change it to "EmuPath=ReV". I hope its enought easy Have fun with "mutation" of SBReV .[size=100]This program dosent have any viruses, it never had and never will, ALWAYS download it from this site. caskachan 2. ->this folder is empty Should i have to put the following files in this folder: steamclient.dll, Steam.dll, rev.ini & the "x64"-folder? Thx, Pascal |
