I think the ip is for some auth, so maybe you can try to put your ip there if the other link wont work...

I have Half-Life 1 and Counter Strike 1.6 fully updated GCFs, which I downloaded using a legit account on legit steam.
I applied this patch, logged in with a blank account, and it says "Counter Strike (update paused)" as if I had to update CS...
If I resume the update, it stays at 0% even though I have the fully updated GCF, and if I try to launch the game, it says that the steam servers are too busy to handle the request. Why does it happen? Why won't it let me play CS1.6 , neither "update" it?

they only way to do it is if you exploit mistakes they've made server-side which would be pretty hard and would just get patched even if they didnt get there hands on the exploit as they can see what you are sending.

but dont expect a 'vac' patch to mean you can play while the auth-servers are up. vac can be patched f00l, its client side that sends the memory of the offsets from the game, the server just compare them with the version number .. the problem is we don't know the offsets

when i shall install Counter-Strike Source steam is saying that the server is bussy but dod: s is working and Hl2 and Hl but the cs:s dosen't work to install. i has patched steam with this patch, but how to fix the problem so i can play cs:source?

Use the mini GCF fix, I've got CS:S working and everything, but I can't join servers, it says I don't own the game, tried CZ and CS I can join servers fine on them, is there anyway I can get to play CS:S on Vac2 servers????????
