Thank for feedback it's usefull. You save me from doubt.

No need to the full GCFs (v19 for ssdk and v0 for source base sdk already on the new thread) but if you want make an update patch you're welcome ;) (for get the full new two sdk i must validate my file, don't understand why but before it was incomplete)

And for some info about latest update, with release of new sdk: Base source engine 2.gcf get updated to version 8...

EDIT and i'm currently testing a while of web hoster, every feedback about speed is welcome (good or bad)

I guess the problem of the other guy was that his Steam language is set to russian.
So the game is bound to miss russian language files (at least russian subtitles).
Set Steam to english, like everybody does! 8)

you're wrong
as I mentioned before, there's no russian localization for SG

could someone post a sfv/md5 of all files in /common/shadowgrounds?
just want to check it more thoroughly
and for the ship common.gcf - I finally got it completed! 130034/130034
If someone need a patch, msg me

if a game has stuck at 58 % and i know i have the lastes GCF's and i'm using patched steam. which file shall i delete; AppUpdateStats.blob or ClientRegistry.blob?
or whats the name of the file i shall delete?

fixed some links, added all update for shadowgrounds (choose your prefered ;) )

@fatepower delete clientregistry.blob (but you can delete the 2 steam recreate when started) and / or check with Divitons GCF tool if your gcfs are uptodate by comparing version given in this thread.

@Ace Crock: some problem with the update of shadowgrounds?
Just for your knowledge, par2 is a more precise algorithme than sfv or md5.

just want to check all my files. it shows 100% ready but strangely stops for long at 85% when verifiying
par2 should be ok too, but elrico posted here only par2 for the root dir, not for all files. So if someone can post it for whole dir it would be great

You say that when you validate shadosgounds with steam, they're a break at 82% before restarting?
Tgis peharps normal 'when i validate i don't look the process, i do other thing ;) ), peharps you hard disk is fragmented?
For me for some GCF the validate regress at a momment and finish well...

I think it's not really important...

Hey guys after I download the latest SDK do I need to change my source models.gcf too?
Because when I try to compile something I get this from studiomdl:
ERROR: 'EXCEPTION ACCESS VIOLATION' (assert: 1)
Any ideas?
