Mitsukarina i forgot to thanks You for file and older file will not fix problems but i know what may, copy vsdtlib_s tier0_s and steamclient.dll into UGL or (in SBreV Fixes) folder and auth error will not bother You anymore but this will not work with newest Steam :|

For anyone still having problems getting UGL to work after the recent Steam update, please unpack this upgrade pack into your UGL folder.

This contains the required valve files, the latest SteamEmu and a new blob file.

This should also work in SBREV, as SASIO said earlier.

Ok, I just did this to check that everything works ok:
For reference:
    I have Steam installed on another drive that I use to update GCFs

    I only ever let UGL extract games

    I never copy anything into extracted game folders

If you have copied things into an extracted folder, or another launcher originally extracted the game, or the game still errors, then rename the extracted folder and then let UGL re-extract the game. If it works then copy over your save game files etc.

As a default UGL extracts game files to SteamApps\UGL folder

hi Mitsukarina, i am far from home and unable to check this now, but earlier on this morning when you directed me to hCUPa steamemu, i was able to get UGL working again by replacing the steam.dll file, however it did not allow me to a LAN server and throw me out of the game. I use UGL to run LAN off a few legal steam account, so it is very useful and creating LAN server would be terrific again, were you able to create a local LAN server when you tested UGL just now. thanks in advance.

Yes, I tested LAN server in a few games: PVK1/PVKII/CSCZ/CSS/DOD/HL2/GMOD All seemed to work ok.

Please let me know if it goes ok for you when you try it :)

hi Mitsukarina, you're right it does work, however i had to flush all the old steam folders/files in the UGL folder else it would throw an error while creating a LAN server. after clearing these folders, i used UGL to install them again and everything seems to be as they were before the steam updates. thanks once again, your help was greatly appreciated.

OK its work but there are 2 Bugs the First Bug is the Shutdown at klick on Freinds List area and the second Bug is the Shutdown by the favourite List. I have a little Fix I use Steam-Buster it works but at UGL it doesnt work because UGL refresh the extractet Folders !!!!

Not tried this, not into multiplayer :? , but can you try copying all your dlls into the UGL folder (from your pack) so friendsUI.dll and serverbrowser.dll are in the UGL folder also?

hi Mitsukarina,
i would like to understand how UGL works abit, as it does not like any of the old existing files and folders in the UGL folder prior to the steam updates, meaning i had to clear them all and let the updated UGL create them again for it to work correctly. i wanted to keep these folders and files as they contained all the maps i had for them and i normally rename the UGL folder to my steam account when i decide to play online and not host a lan game for 20 players. i tried this with no success, moving all the content folders to a temp folder and letting UGL extract them again as it would when you install the games using UGL then moving these new content and overwriting the old contents with this now working files, however it does not work. i did get it working but leaving these newly extracted content alone, and just copying the maps folder for each game accross. I've been using UGL from all the previous updates and they always seems to work by just extracting the UGL updates over the UGL folder. any explaination would be greatly appreciated. i hope my explaination makes sense.
