Thanks for the source, Mitsukarina! I implemented a very basic ping column in the server browser (measures the time between the start and end of your server-querying), which should help to find a fast server. although nothing exact though, it should give the user some idea of the server speed. file is attached below (modified exe + servers.vb). edit: forgot one modified source file. fixed now. re-edit: spent some time reworking the serverbrowser today. changes to my previous version (which only featured the new ping-like column): wrong IP/port interpretation after list (re) sorting fixed, UGL should now always connect to the server you selected; debug window upon join removed; internal online-connection-routine enhanced (now IDX determination checks both ip and port; for multiple servers on one IP); tooltips added in server browser. once again: the ping column does NOT show a servers exact ping; i just measure the time the server needs to reply to ugl's information-request, which only more or less can be taken as its ping. unfortunately this value only takes discreet values (steps of 15 or 16 milliseconds; I think its VBs rough millisecond measurement??), but you can cleary see if a server is replying fast or slow. so the column is nothing precise, but a good base to start from modded source and binary attached to this post. FILES REMOVED; please check P8 for newer versions! |

Thanks a lot for releasing the source ! Here is a modified version. The changes are : Features : - Fixed non english games (SiN 1, HL2 : Lost Coast, HL2: Episode 1, ...) - Added Quit after launch option - Removed media player stuff - Improved global performance - Few GUI bug fixes - Corrected some exceptions caused by string manipulation - Added Disciples 2 : RotE, fixed SiN 1 Source Code - Big cleanup - No more global vars - Object oriented structure - Engine is almost separate from GUI => allows to change GUI easily The source code is now much more cleaner and it should be easy to add new features. I hope i've not broken too many things ... [Edit] : Fixed a bug in options dialog i introduced just before release

2 Ralou: Nice to see that Mitsukarina's work is continued! But why does your version show all steam games in the list, even the ones I dont have? Are you going to continue improving UGL or you just did one-time release? |

You have to enable the "Hide steam game that are not downloaded" option in the option dialog (i just fixed it. redownload). It works fine here. I will release another version with a different GUI and i may keep modifying it if changes are needed. |

You've just made the GUI more difficult imo I think your option to show only downloaded games needs the user to restart UGL. But yeah, a different GUI would be nice, looking forward to it |

Why do you think i've mage the GUI more difficult ? I've almost not modified it ... Sorry about the GUI comment, I made a mistake... When you disable, then enable steam games in options window, none of them do show up in the listview until you restart UGL. Can you fix this? |

Cynric : Thanks for adding your server browser ! It works nicely ! *DoDo* : Your problem is not caused by UGL which only loads the game. You should ask in the steamemu thread ... |
