just to be fair.. i'm posting like hcupa did.

First program: CACGen -

mods can remove it just like with hcupa's but u dont have to delete the thread.. u didn't with his.

what mine does:
logs accounts, checks for duplicates etc..
you can do it once, log the info and play a game or something or do every valvecafepc account.
saves to cacaccounts.txt with simple linebreak formatting.

i made a 'CAC Launcher' to launch the different programs and create desktop shortcuts to them.

useaccounts.exe - log into a random account from cacaccounts.txt in CAC.
genaccount.exe - generates one account, saves it and logs in with it.
genaccounts.exe - generates all accounts. can be much faster but for safety it does about 1 every 10 seconds.
runcafe.exe - runs CAC.
showpass.exe - runs CAC showing the password to the user.
CAC Launcher.exe - self explanatory.


this uses steam instead of the 'sendmac' and 'getinfo' tcp packets method..
tried it but stopped working after a while.. so i use the original cac client to avoid issues

only a little bit of it in the showpass.exe is in .Net 2.0 but you'll need the redistributables.
all up i've only spent about 30 minutes programming this stuff cos its fairly basic and can't really be released.. i suppose..

Edit: oh and i never mentioned this before but this does things like stopping CAC from exiting after closing a game etc.. automatically by changing the interface and changing lines in the CAC config file..

only spent about 30 minutes on this one again, but this one i've released for you guys is actually an old version which is now a dll for a bigger program which i'm not releasing.
all this one does is do random (BUT VALID) macs every 20 seconds.
takes 20 seconds to disable and enable the network adapter.

tried finding what checks it in cacdll.dll but i think it checks the tcp packets which contain the physical address.

note that mac addresses are not just random numbers and characters, not just random hex characters, but have things like Manufacturer Access Code and such that make it hard to generate.
these generated are fully valid and not just random hex characters.

this one is a very buggy version but i can't release the new dll as it would be useless, and the new client its a part of is not going to be released.

this uses hCUPa's program with my MacGen to do mac brute-forcing.
hCUPa's brute-forcer doesn't do the macs right. there not just hex characters as explained above.
this will do the mac generating properly and check validity using his.

p.s. mods, just having my say as you let hcupa. delete the links if you consider them dangerous.

heh told you it was buggy does different things on all pc's i've tried

you can just click the continue button in the .net error dialog to see the generating start i'm pretty sure.

my new version has almost no bugs.. but it's a dll for another program.
if we are allowed to do cac stuff i'll make the new version into a stand-alone app that changes the mac and uses it in cac like my new version and release it here

It works for me, i just click on the "Continue" message, but every time i try a different MAC address, my internet conection crashes

hmmm MACgen seems dont work ... i press continue ... and i see that my computer isnt added/ wrong mac. any suggestions ?

thats because your network must reset. your internet will have to go on and off each time..

it was for that reason, and the time issue that i would rather just change the cacdll.dll but it's not checking the mac from the computer (which you could change), but it receives it from the tcp packet info.

and guys note that this is an old and buggy version which is just POC.
would love to make my new one able for you guys to try but i'll see how this pans out with the mods about cac stuff before i dedicate my time to it

nothing...it generates "valid" macs... their syntax is righ but that doesn't mean that CAS/CAC accepts it!

ok, i manually gave my card the right mac add, but it stil doesnt work, i use a router, do i have to change the routers mac add too?

Thanks for your reply chrismrulz, my internet tries to conect again but after 20 seconds it says "nule conectivity", which is no internet.
About your though of mods, i respect that, so i dont expect you releasing anything new (Although i hope )
About what .:German-Boy:. said, its true, it just makes valid mac's, but most of them not valid for CAS (Unless you are lucky)

lol people, this is not going to get you a mac to work in CAC..
its proof of concept and an old buggy version which i dont recommend waisting your time on getting a valid mac.

theoretically this version might work.. never tested it that far.

and no, you dont have to spoof your routers mac, wont help.
cac retrieves it from the tcp packets which sends the mac info from the network driver which gets information from your registry to set the mac address.

thanks. i was mucking around with it recently for ixel as he wanted some in a different format.

p.s. it uses 4 different coding languages for each file. autoit is just one i used to get the control text
valve *almost* protected the window controls in CAC but you can do it if you change steam a bit and allow it to select the text.
