copying the certificate to your machine don't work! what you need is a login of an cybercafe member and download the certificate to your machine! yes but we MAY be able to crack them if we get one. it's prolly 256bit but there could be possibility for even a side channel attack. i'm hoping these are the same as normal i.e. certificates as i know several weaknesses.. can't wait till i get my hands on a certificate |

Side channel attack is an attack on cryptosystem implementation, if you lack skills to figure out simple encryption of account-password pair in VTT, there's no way you can find bug in ms cryptolib. Not to mention that codebase of cryptoprovider used is pretty much mature and errors were fixed long time ago. Second, please get a clue about cryptography. There's no way in hell certificate keypair is 256 bits long. 256 bits can be factorized within reasonable time. Default length is 1024 bits and I think Valve sticks with that. can't wait till i get my hands on a certificate "True MAC generation algorithm" strikes back. Now it will allow you to break arbitrary length certificates with ease. That's funny |

umm when the hell did i say the entire certificate was 256bits long? dude get a clue. plus do you even know what type of certificates we/valve are talking about? you know there are different types of ie certificates. untill you actually have a legit account it's all guesswork for us. |

We are talking about length of keys, because THAT is important. If you were talking about something else, its not awfully late to say so. you know there are different types of ie certificates. untill you actually have a legit account it's all guesswork for us. A look into cacdll code shows that its RSA+SHA1. And RSA keys are 1024 bits by default. |
