Ok. So where is the link for download on up-file.com downloads?

You don't have to fucking register do you? I've tried to register on their site twice and each time it's borked the registry and then it's neither registered, nor is that e-mail address used.

I have a small question . I've downloaded some files to test . The file I downloaded was eets.uha and feeding frenzy 2.uha . After extracting all the files I've got some files like this :

1 "eets.uha" extracted files : eets.exe ; launcher.exe ; testapp.exe , etc.
2 "feeding frenzy 2 deluxe.uha" extracted files : feeding frenzy two.exe, ff2.saf , etc.

What should I do now ? I don't see any gcf/ncf here . Confused .

*wants to run gmod, needs the .gcf*

By reading the stickied thread about cracks and tools, you could already know that cracked Steam can download CS:Source.

the eets.exe should be in \steamapps\common\eets
together with all the other files
the same goes for feeding frenzy 2 deluxe (steamapps\common\feeding frenzy 2 deluxe )

I've already did what you said but it didn't work . Just a lot of errors and the game doesn't seem to be installed . Maybe you should check it out Baine , I mean test if it works ot not .

Is this forum banning a range of IP ? I'm getting a ban from here although I didn't do anything . I'm using a proxy to post this post atm . It's so slow .

you also need the ncf's, which are located in the ncf pack
just download this pack and extract all the ncf files into your steam-apps dir

if this doesnt work, i'll check it myself

All of my HL1-based games are currently at 0%.

I suppose I need a more recent copy of half-life engine.gcf.

It would be great if someone uploaded that!

Secondly, HL2DM/HL2E1 are also at 0%.

Which GCF should be updated?

the latest client was posted a few pages back but getting update to work this time is a little tricky.
1. Move your old shared.gcf to another dir and attempt to redownload CSS
2. Pause/quit steam, you don't really need to redownload the whole thing.
3. Replace your old shared.gcf back and try updating once again

There is a similar vay to get it 100%-Ready:

1. Pause/Exit Steam,
2. Replace counter-strike source client.gcf with SteamWise offered (http://rapidshare.com/files/12961683/co ... _client.7z),
3. Resume/Start Steam and Validate CSS files (Properties->Local files->Verify integrity of game cache...).

After validating CSS starts updating from 99%...
