You never become a mod by asking. You get asked, just in case any of you are wondering |

I've known Mitsukarina from the start of his UGL project and I have to say it's been a great pleasure to have his contributions to this forum. It helps so much, without him, I really don't have much reason to be posting in this forum.. Congrats man, and keep up the good work.. contributions deserve to be recommended. |

Mitsu... where the fuck are you??? Anyway, being a mod isn't about how much you know, it's about how you handle people and contribute overall. I don't know a thing about cracking. I got the position because I'm here a lot, I have experience as a teacher, because I'm older, and because I managed people well. You can know everything about engines, but that only makes you a mechanic- not a good manager for a mechanic's business. Those guys seemed good with people AND good with the products, so they got the job. Argue and get ignored. |

This is a surprise, and quite a shock! I fully understand why some people in this thread are wondering who I am, and probably why I would be chosen. And to be honest, though incredibly honoured, and a little bit proud, I'm also apprehensive about Moderating, for the following reasons:
I am the type of guy that likes to do things properley, and I would hate to be a part of something that I felt I was failing in, or letting someone down on, because I don't have the time to do it properley. I'm worried that I would end up not doing as much as I should, and hence further burdening the already overworked moderators of this forum. Though I visit this forum (probably every day) and help out whenever I can, the reality is that I have little time in my life to do this. this is why I often visit a few times a day, from work or home, for a minute or so at a time, rather than being on for any great length of time. cIntX knows all about this, whenever we're doing a coding/test session via MSN, I have to go somewhere at least a couple of times - sorry man! I guess these are my reservations, don't get me wrong, I feel honoured that you have asked me, and my comments above may seem trivial to some, but I would want to accept something like this in the knowledge that I can deliver what the other moderators would expect, not just because it is on offer and would make me feel good. I'm always looking at the bigger picture I guess. If anyone would like to get in touch with me via PM, or reply here, then please do, as I'm not sure whether or not I am actually suitable for this role? Any feedback is welcome! |

Congrats! .Rar is probably the most active member ATM (at least as far as I see As for Mitsukarina, if he has time to spend moderating, he's a very good choice. People who say they don't know him are blind?.. Mitsukarina is one of the most contributing person here, maybe he's not as active as others but he doesn't talk bs and is mature at least. Overall: very good choices |
