res i never said that in fact i said that mits is a very good choice
and gecka its about how much posts u have...but indded most ppl are becoming mods because they posts a lot :roll:

I meant to say exactly this, post count shouldn't matter.
Rar and Mitsukarina are both good candidates for mods, even if they don't have lots of posts. :)

That's not true. I can mention a couple of guys here which have a postcount at 1300+ or something like that, and who were never considered to be moderators. No offense. Also, these two have a normal post count for active members. Not like me who has no life.

Mitsu, what you said is exactly what I had in mind when writing this and a special introduction topic. You could be a great moderator for sure, you don't have to be as crazy as me, cIntx and .Rar, who spend a lot time here. Look at Deviant, CF and Clarence ;)
I hope you take the job, but if you don't, I can fully understand it :)

Well,
I've thought long and hard about this, and it's a difficult thing for me to say, but i'm going to have to decline this offer.

It's particularly difficult, because the mods that I have had contact with have never been anything but fair and helpful with me, and I kind of feel that i'm letting them down a bit.

I hope this causes no ill feeling, and i'm sure it wont, but I believe that the little time I do have for the rin community would be better served writing software with cIntX and hCUPa's help, and documenting information like I have in my C# tutorials, rather than moderating the forum; which I see as a job that others around here are more than capable of doing, and could probably do it better.

I hope you all understand, and it pains me to say no, as i care a lot about this community, but i really feel that I could not do this job as well as I would want to, and that would only serve to annoy me every time I visited, and I really don't want to feel that way :wink:

I would also like to congratulate .Rar on his appointment - well done mate, I know you will do well :D
