I followed all the instructions in the tut, I patch it with cintx 4 jan, but steam wont start unless i connect to the internet, and when I do, steam updates and I have to re-patch it, ove and over, then I tried the undead patch, still says preload complete. I tried extracting all of the GCF's to a folder with gcfscape, then making a shortcut to hl2.exe with "-game pathtogmodfolder". no dice. when I run hl2.exe with "-game pathtohl2folder", hl2 runs just fine, same with cs:s, and any other mods I try. Please help me. If I dont play Gmod 10 soon, i'm gonna explode. literally.

Ok when i go to play Counter Strike Source Online it wont let me... it says that this account does not have this game purchased.

Yea, because that is the case.. you caon't play on normal servers with cracked stuff, unfortunately.

Sorry for the frustration I have been looking into this matter and I couldnt find an answer
BTW I managed to download a game this way(or is busy downloading) but when I try a big game ie Tomb Raider anniversary it says steam servers too busy, but nevermind
I have another question why doesnt Gmod 10 have all the HL2 Single player chapters, or the css stuff?

Why should it? It's standalone...
Get the GCFs to get the content (I manually unpacked the folders into the gmod folder using GCFScape, might not be the best option for an extractor but it has a nice GUI)

O...k dont take this the wrong way, but I am not that stupid I know I need those Gcfs but I have them, atleast the HL2Stages are showing up, but the counterstrike weapons refuse to spawn, and only half of them are there
