I use some GCF patches for EP1 from this Forum,but only 66%-->99%.Who can help me to complete the GCF patch?thanks in advance.Here is my Info file

"Verify integrity of game cache" - We are not noob , that was already tried out, verification quits after 18% suddenly, meaning that area needs to be updated ( which I req ) & also from some one who has clean uncorrupt HL2EO gcf's..i explained how to test the gcf's above to ensure they are the goodies.

Someone pls make me a patch for the following:

- the ship single player content.gcf
- the ship tutorial content.gcf
- the ship gcf

All of the above are stuck in their % 80's..so pls help

Remember some of the members here are using corrupt HL2:EO gcf's, the way to test it is to try install HL2:EO from SBRev & check if gameinfo.txt file is 0 bytes or not in the extracted content folder, if yes even after updating the patch & making it 100% Ready in Steam, in offline mode it will showup the error. Strangely in GCF Explorer one can see the gameinfo.txt file is complete & even during the extraction it is written correctly, only at the end of the process ( instalation from SBRev ) the byte goes 0. So you require to get the GCF patches created by someone who can confirm that the GCF's they are using do not have the above problem. And it is better to keep the uncorrupt GCF as a backup till you get the correct one figured out after patching them to the latest. May I have the patches ready from http://www.sendspace.com/file/vppzny Baine helpme out here...THX I have solution for that problem with 0 bytes GameInfo.txt... it's only corrupt in half-life episode 1.gcf file, good one is in episode 1 share.gcf... so install game using SBRev, copy GameInfo.txt from episode 1 shared.gcf using GCFTool into episodic folder... works But steam shows 69%... Works only with SBRev.
