sixcentgeorge, what file made an error ? could u please pm me a minigcf of it if the error still exist ? (uncheck the option to reset content of mini gcf so i can see the structure) thx

Sorry but I am at a loss as to what I should do with these. Steam isn't serving me anything atm so I guess I might try to grab the GCFs that were posted on rapidshare in the other thread. What is my best option at the moment?

I think, you put it in with the rest of the GCF files, and then restart SteamEmu, and it'll start downloading where those files left off.

Hmmm... would it be possible to make GCF-Patches for the pre-load gcfs of Portal and Half-Life 2 Episode Two? Because with those it would be possible to patch them to an unlocked full size mode and everyone who already downloaded the preload could still use the preloaded files.
