Jancuksd i don't know who the hell you are but my pc was not hacked, only my sig was changeg here and it was because of a bug on the php that is fixed now.

Uhh... I don't think we should be banning people just because someone said they are a pacman fan. otherwise everyone will be calling everyone pacman fans. The guy has been here over 6 months without making any trouble.

Valve games are great- they work, they work well, and you love them or you wouldn't be here, so all of you go buy the game and support the developers to make better games.

There's a major major difference being e-tough and IRL-tough, or messing with e-life and real-life. .

He will stay banned because i know he is a pacman fanboy because i checked him by ip , he is a denmak guy using the same isp as pacman.

Anyway, I've kept my mouth shut about this whole fiasco, but I will open it now.

1. Valve games are great- they work, they work well, and you love them or you wouldn't be here, so all of you go buy the game and support the developers to make better games.

2. MaddoxX has made trouble for us in the past, and looked like he was getting his act together, but this was a foolish thing to do and he has possibly brought trouble to us all, so he has once again lost my trust.

3. Proxies wont protect him. Half the proxy servers in the world are run or closely monitored by the FBI, and the other half are run by people who will hand over your info in 1 second if a pack of agents turn up saying "We're gonna throw your ass in buttfucker prison if you don't give us access to your server".

Proxies will protect you from the small guys, but the big guys have more than enough power to lean on the proxy server owners and ISPs, and get the info they need to trace you.
People are employed to do this job. If they want to get you, they probably will.

The thing is, you're not messing with a small company runned(sp?) by only Gabe and few people who, by miracle, are rich and funny-to-make-fun-off. You're talking about this Multi-National company who has millions of ''clients''. Proxy or not, you're gonna get owned. If ValvE decides, which I think they will, to track your little ass down, they will, in no time. That's called a big major Fraud that can get your ass for atleast 10 years or more in jail. Messing with some company credit's card and asking an ultimatum on the top of it,..man you gotta be high on crack lol.

Hey guys ..Glad to see rin back up i dont know why i even come here its like an addiction or something lol (no specific reason) I have to say its been a looong time since i played a valve game and i bought CSS in Nov 2006 and played like for a week or two ever since i been playing Battlefield 2 im wondering what the specific reason was for dropping maddy as a mod was ? what did he do ? wasa it cause of that valve web site hacking stuff ?

I would agree with this, also, I'm not saying everyone should just be one big family, but it is probably worth remembering that the tactic of "Divide and Conquer" is one that has proved worthy throughout history. Communication for a common cause, even if differences exist, is a good thing. I have seen, and would imagine, that there are many people here (I am one of them) who own boxed Valve games, but don't want to be forced to login to Steam to play a single player game, or a LAN game. In my case, these are all I ever play, as I don't play on internet servers, so why should I be forced to make the connection? My needs, and use of the tools from this site, are for legal reasons, and at this time, I think that it is probably worth pointing out that there are many legal reasons for using the various downloads available here, that help genuine people use the boxed software that they brought in a shop, as they wish. I believe that the acceptance of content delivery will, at some point, become a reality. I am not a pacman fanboy, just to keep this clear - but there are a bunch of people living in denmark (~6 million) and there are probably not as many isps availiable in denmark, so I don't really get your logic... As a respond to the talk about proxies: Obviously it must be very difficult (if not impossible) to completely cover your tracks to become untraceable, but a lot of effort has to be put into really tracking down somebody (threatening ISPs and proxy owners etc.), so I'm not sure that this will be done for a relatively small fish hacking some game company/provider... If you hack the pentagon be sure to use all the proxies you can find, but in a case like this...?? I'm just not sure it's important enough to get the 'agents' away from their coffee
