MAJOR BREAKTHROUGH!!!

There as been issues using linux hlds cracks that non-steam users cannot authenticate themselves automatically as admins when using amxmod/amxmodx.

I've finally found a solution by modifying some values usig a hex editor and changing the ID Tags that are used for Steam.

I'll try to keep this as short as possible. You know when you try to host a Non-Steam Server using Linux and you can't authenticate yourselves automatically because you have an invalid Steam ID.

I've changed the values so that STEAM_ID_PENDING is modified to VALVE_ID_PENDING (which is the same but as a valid userid).

I'll provide you the files. This is the 3651 release and it works with amxmodx, I haven't tried with amxmod yet but i can assure you it would most likely that it will work.

This will work if you use a username/password or using your network lan ip address for the users configuration file. And it will allow you to auto authenticate as an amx admin if you use non-steam. The Patch should work with Steam users as well as i dint modify anything in that regards, I'll post the files here.

VAC does not awake to work in general on NON-STEAM. The module awakes loaded, but detected cheats does not awake..

I thought you've cracked the linux files that I've given you, so yeah. If I know who cracked it I can give the proper credits to I can remove the attachments if you want. Edit: File Attachment removed from my Post, You can now download it on the 1st post of this thread, ta ppsx.

UPDATE: (28/07/07) I've been testing out the modified cracks for Linux HLDS Build 3651 and stumbled across a major problem for legal steam users not being able to authenticate themselves properly with amxmod/amxmodx. I've re-adjusted the ID Tags so it should work now. - Fixed Issues relating to Legal Steam users unable to authenticate themselves properly using amxmod/amxmodx. I don't get it...I have the dedicated server thing installed, and I got the provision win32 build but I don't understand where to put it!!! Did I even download the right thig somebody help!!!

Are there any other cracks in this world? because these ar really LAG my server. WTF is the couse? AMD Sempron(TM) 2500+ (2100 MHz) - 1 GB RAM ... tryed on Fedora 7 and Gentoo PLEASE HELP ME !!!!!!

With dedicated I mean: Server downloaded trough hldsupdatetool With extracted I mean: Game files extracted from GCF and working to play + server These files are for the latest build and should work with every game. The emu is temp. broken to play extracted games.
