First of all i want to say thx for it all!

Second: It started when i found TF2 on The pirate bay and got it down... it worked fine and evrything was as it should but then 1.0.2.4 came out and the new achevements came out. It was impossible to find any one who had made it work for the non-steam edition... but then i found you! You have made it work! but there is some problems.. if you could fix them it would be perfect.

Patch 1.0.2.8 dont work.. when you start the game it shows an error box for hl2.exe

There are som texture failures too... not many but they are there.

I really hope that you can fix it.

You should verify your game files, maybe some are broken.

It could be the way to repair it but how to do that when its a nonstam game with no gfc files??

Actually you're right, there is something wrong with the latest update.
The standalone version that i have created use RevEmu + steamemu addon and the problem is that since the latest update of source engine 2007 the steamemu addon crash

The new Team Fortress II update is available here:

It's almost the same than the previous patch except than this one fix all the small problems.
If you have already updated your game to the latest version, you can alternatively download only the attached archive and extract the file in your team fortress II folder.

but could i do abbout the missing textures? when my files is'nt .gfc

Well the problem is that i don't know wich files could be missing
When i have tested the release on my computer i haven't see any textures problem...
We need to find wich files are missing (or broken) then i should be able to fix it.

TF2 Update
I have added a modified Gamemenu to the comprehensive update, if your game is already in the latest version, you can download the attached archive: (extract the files into your Team fortress II folder)

I downloaded TF2 and I can't run it
I always get this error:
SteamStartup() failed: SteamStartup(0xf,0x0012E5BC) failed with error 108: The local Steam Service is not running

What should I do?
