It's not big ofcourse; but I don't have enough space. I have a 120gb HD splitted 60/60. 3.3gb free in drive C and 2.7gb free in drive D. My 'steamapps' folder is 40.2gb. If I can find enough money I will buy a 60/80gb 10000rpm HD and make it drive C. Portal and EP2 is comming too. I really need a new HD

I looked at the GCF's from CTF and there are 'source 2007 binaries.gcf' and 'source 2007 shared ***.gcf' files. Maybe we can download these. |

yep , it's 7 gigs in total, with all the "original" shared source gcfs ... so it wont require 7 gigs more if u already have source apps. |

But why the hell can't I preload it? Which crack did you use? I use Sasio's Undead Patch. |

i'm not able to preload it too and would like to be able to ...
don't know what crack i use ... either sasio undead patch, or cintx 8 jan 2007 patch (i applied it a long time ago, and both are in my steam folder, but i think it's sasio's) i had size info from cftoolbox

Wrong, the new source apps have more content in them, look at this pic, the new ones have borealis props in them and stuff. 
Also, I thought you'd be interested in this, I got the TF2 heavy weapons guy to load up in the particlebench, not as an entity though, he just kinda sits there. I had to do vmt mods galore to get this working. Maps also work in the pb, with some minimal modification.

well i got the black box from a ati box from a system build i work at a computer store. So i preloaded tf2 already. |

And yes, what those guys said earlier were true: it is 7GB, it is partially encrypted and stuff. |
