I should apologize to everyone and clarify something. When I pre-loaded the files after purchasing the Orange Box, I only preloaded Episode 2. But do not worry. I will either get the remaining GCFs later or when I purchase the retail boxed version and make separate torrents for EP2, TF2 and Portal. Again, I apologize. |

Yes, that's what I meant by "also needed". Those files are shared/used by all the Orange Box titles. CFToolbox will tell you exactly which files you need, depending on what title(s) you want, but those files are common to all. Anyway, we're just spinning our wheels now... ~9 hours to go. |

Uff, and just like that, another update hits. Updated: source 2007 binaries.gcf (used by HL2Ep2 and Portal) and also team fortress 2 client content.gcf team fortress 2 content.gcf So not at 100% again, until we can get a patch (probably in the TF2 thread). Anyone with the GCFs for The Portal and Team Fortress 2 who feels generous enough to upload them to my FTP so I can create a torrent and my friend can add it to his tracker? Forgive me if this is a stupid suggestion, but is it possible to create a mass brute-forcer to break the encryption? We could distribute it to all, and then mass-link it through a server. Each client could then start at a different point and brute-force from there. Just a suggestion

Working on it. My friend is getting the GCFs from me via FTP. Once he has them, he will seed as well. I live in Canada where the game probably isn't going to be released until the 12th or so. Once I get it, the first thing I will do it make torrents for Portal and Team Fortress 2, as well as Half-Life 1, 2 and EP1. |

If you need portal, I can give it to you.
