PeJpepiG how do you want to update the new sdk? I tried that once, but the beta didn't showed up in CFToolbox (the GCF disappeared)... Is it recognized by now? |

ChrisTX Normally it is not recognized by CFToolbox, I modified the CDR so that it recognizes it. CFToolbox doesn't show it as the version of the beta gcf is higher than the version in the CDR. So it could be that you also have to modify the CDR to apply the patch. Created the update, 304MB, compressed 33,7MB, uploading it now. |

PeJpepiG Yeah I meant that, thanks. But is there a way to prevent cracked steam from correcting the file back to v27? Everytime I start cracked steam my sourcesdk is unfinished again and back at v27. I have hardlinked GCFs for Steam/cracked steam/nonsteam so this is a bit annoying :/ . |

ChrisTX You just have to activate the beta on cracked Steam then it should work, at least it does for me. But it doesn't work by starting Steam with -srcsdk0122, you have to activate it in the settings. That's how it works for me. |

Cat5782 I meant an archive of your GCF: in cftoolbox -> rightclick -> updates -> make archive. Then post the .archive file CFToolbox created. |

there's a CRC error in day of defeat source.gcf, downloaded 3 times and always error on ~80% of extraction... anyone could reupload? I kinda need the most recent version of that file, thx

thuthu You should be able to download this with cracked Steam. I suggest you see if CF Toolbox recognises the extracted file, correct it and then resume. Otherwise re-download with CF Toolbox. |
