EDIT: Got it to work.
Now i need to know how to place stargate entities, since they don't appear on the entitie tab.

Do it works only with cracked Steam?

Sure. But if you don't own the game, then you can't play the game with out cracking Steam.

I downloaded the TinyLauncher and copied the following gcf files from my legit steam account into the stamapps-folder of TinyLauncher:

• base source engine 2.gcf
• source engine.gcf
• source materials.gcf
• source models.gcf
• source sounds.gcf
• multiplayer ob binaries.gcf
• source 2007 shared materials.gcf
• source 2007 shared models.gcf
• source 2007 shared sounds.gcf
• counter-strike source client.gcf
• counter-strike source shared.gcf
• counter-strike source_german.gcf
• day of defeat source.gcf
• half-life 2 content.gcf
• half-life 2 game dialog.gcf
• half-life 2 deathmatch.gcf

I own CS:Source, DoD:Source and HL2 DM (I bought CS:Source and the other games were included). After that I downloaded the gcf files for HL2, HL2EP1 and HL2EP2 from cs.rin.ru and also copied the into the steamapps folder of TinyLauncher.

Then I created the shortcuts with the included bat file but only CS:Source and HL2EP1 run! All other games fail with the error "Could not load library client". As it seems TinyLauncher fails extracting the gcf files of those games. I mean.. it says "extracting half-life 2 content.gcf", the window disappears and all extracted files are 0kb.

As I remember I once read Steam has to unlock the gcf files before they can be used. So.. is the matter that my half-life 2 content.gcf is legit but locked because I dont really own the game and just was able to download it to play HL2DM?

Try using UCL instead. It works just fine for every Source game. Just make sure you have the latest version of RevEmu's dlls on the corresponding folder

Can I download the file "half-life 2 episode two low violence" here, too? I need it to start Episode Two but I didnt find it

@Metatron83: I already thought about using another steam launcher.. but I was unable to download the UCL^^ the homepage of the UCL Team ist offline and all other download links dont work either. Have you got a working link??

Anyway.. I updated the RevEmu (and SteamEmu) files but the problem still exists. While prepairing the game to launch it extracts the half life 2 content.gcf and suddenly stops. Than UTC tells me, that hl2.exe is not a valid win32 executable and the file is 0kb big. Have you any idea whats the reason for that sh..? I use the half life 2 content.gcf of this thread.

CF Toolbox tells me the half life 2 content.gcf is 100% downloaded and valid! oO

edit 2:
I validated all gcf files and source engine.gcf was invalid (but it was also 100%). I will fix this tomorrow^^ it's time to sleep.
