Portal

Portal is a single-player first-person action/puzzle video game developed by Valve. The Windows version of the game is also available for download separately through Steam.[2] The game consists primarily of a series of puzzles which must be solved by teleporting the player's character and other simple objects using the Aperture Science Handheld Portal Device. Team Fortress 2

A Russian nationalist by the name of Zakhaev is set on returning his homeland to the Soviet times. Zakhaev knows the United States would never allow this to happen, thus he funds a coup in the Middle East, organized by his ally Al-Asad, to draw attention away from Russia. The two men and their seconds-in-command gain the nickname The Four Horsemen. However, the British and US governments have been monitoring Zakhaev's activities and discover his real intentions. During the War a Stolen Russian Nuclear weapon is launched at the Americans in the Middle East. The story is told from a perspective of a British 22nd Special Air Service Regiment operative in Russia and American 1st Force Recon in the Middle East.

The game also features a flashback mission set 15 years ago in the Chernobyl Zone of Alienation, which features a new incarnation of Captain Price from 22nd SAS Regiment, the only character to appear in both of the first two games of the Call of Duty series. He needs to assassinate Zakhaev, but his mission fails because his Captain gets wounded and he has to get him out of the Zone of Alienation. Whether this new Price will be confirmed to be a relative of the WWII era Price remains to be seen. It is also believed that the assasination attempt left Zakhaev with only one arm. (Wikipedia)

Updates and Patches


TF2 got updated on 21.09.07

I will explain how u can update your game files and start playing again:

1. Get CFToolbox http://rapidshare.com/files/57225295/CFToolbox.zip and place it on your \%sysdir%\Steam\SteamApps\ folder
2. Get the update for the GCF files [DOWNLOAD] http://mihd.net/b61av2
3. Extract the rar file from the updated gcf anywhere on your disk.
4. Close steam and run CFToolbox, right click on the gcf files that are marked "outdated'' select patches then select "apply update".
browse to the folder where u extracted your updated GCF files. select the right GCF.

TF2 got updated on 22.09.07

How to:

1)Download all the OLD! files
2)Extract them using the latest version of 7zip extractor
3)Place the extracted filles in C:\PacSteam\SteamApps folder
4)Update them using the updates above
5)When you finish update them you can start PacSteam and let PacSteam to complete updating if needed
6)Run the GAME!

Note: Dont apply only the latest update. Apply all the updates starting with 21-09-07
