I know about revolution loader, but I want to play these games throuth steam, not through loader, and Steam Launcher had an error: "can't edit steam.dll"
P.S. Other ncf games like gish or red orchestra works!!!

and manhunt doesn't work!!!Through revolution windows said about an error,through steam it shutted down, and through manhunt.exe an error too!!I tried nocd, but it didn't help

SOMEBODY!!!HELP ME PLZ!!!HOW TO LAUNCH MANHUNT??

When I try to validate manhunt content.gcf there was an error "validation failed" and when I tried to correct it there was an error "File has been corrected and must be updated"
how can I update it?? there aren't any updates for manhunt in steam!I dont know what to do, I tried to launch it through cracked steam,through Revolution loader and throuth exe file. Nothing works!
P.S. I have windows vista

I'm new here and a noob in all that. I've downloaded 13 .rar files of max payne 2 the fall of max payne (mxpn2.partxx.rar) and a .sfv file with the contents

When Itried to extrack the rars, I was asked for a password of MXPN2.part01.rar I tipped in "1FD53B71" and Winrar said, it was the wrong password, could not extract, etc.
What can I do? Where do I find the correct password. And: did I downloaded the right files?
PLZ HELP ME!!!

I'm trying to play gt1 and gta2 but run in to some errors. I've used Steam Buster, rev-loader, CFToolbox (100% file validation), PacSteam and SteamEmu_stfu_mod but nothing works.

The password can be found in our FAQ and is: cs.rin.ru

GTA1 error: MGL FATAL ERROR! ERROR 202.478: cannot open '..\gtdata\player_a.dat' and... GTA2 error: Error! unabale to open file player/plyslot0.dat These aren't the usual protection errors (maybe compatibility ones?). My system is WinXP Pro with 8800GTS graphics

Its done, I download now the GTA3 Parts. THX PacSteam can't download Half-Life 2: Episode Two. Sucks him.

The point is, are these errors normal even for legit Steam users? I don't just want to play via the free method, but understand why I can't with the tools here. I just want to learn things. Thanks. IMPORTANT UPDATE: GTA1 on Steam doesn't work with 8800 video cards, even after all fixes have been applied. I don't know if this is also true for the free version, and CD version. This problem may never be fixed. IMPORTANT UPDATE 2: GTA2 is missing a 'PLAYER' folder in ...\common\Grand Theft Auto 2\. Create it and the game should run. All releases of this game (CD, steam, etc) might have had this missing folder, so could be 'normal'. There you go!
