Nice, than you could probably help here?
Do you know why dedicated server doesn't work anymore when using -steam paramter?
Because without -steam you don't have the drop down list for games, or is there a other way to get this working?

Ok I got YOUR problem fixed but now a new problem poped up!
It is easy to get the dedicated server working with -steam parameters. You have to add this as start parameter: -steam -appid 5
Now the list shows up again but now I when I try to create a server then this windows pops up:

Yeah with -nomaster I can start a ded server but then there is no list.

EDIT 2:
Ok the problem must be the new ded server version or the crack. I dont know. Because with my standalone which is posted in my thread I can create a ded server! But with the newest engine and crack it doesnt work.... Strange....

You could try rev emu for your standalone.
Get it from here: http://cs.rin.ru/forum/viewtopic.php?t=30678
You don't need the steamclient.dll (only for src 2007 games) included in the archive, only steam.dll and rev.ini.
With rev emu dedicated server is working for me.
btw. in my opinion rev emu is the better choice for standalones.

Yep, I think so too. I'm planning to remake the tut with both emus and write behind rev-emu recommended. I prolly add also some way how to launch Steam games ported from DOS without any emu (they just launch those games in a modded DOSBox, but if you replace the dosbox.exe with original one it's non Steam )
I'll do that as soon as I've got enough time

I copied rev.ini and rev emu's steam.dll, to my hlds directory, that's all
You have to remove SteamEmu before you do this.
Then I startet hlds.exe -steam

One problem: I cant launch any game (hl, tf, dod and etc)

So games work fine with SteamEmu, but hlds not.
hlds works fine with RevEmu, but games not.
So probably the best solution would be to run it with SteamEmu, and than run hlds without -steam? But than you can't create a server for all games.

With gcfs all is working fine.
