download the attached file and put it in the same folder than HL.exe.
launch Counter Strike.exe to play the game.

So only with new EXE file.

Then other question. Is there a way to play on legit servers with this EMU, if i really have steam account with this game!? Like copying ClientRegistry.blob or just like this, so to play with my real account just without launching Steam?!

No there is no way sorry. The authentification to your account can't be made if you aren't logged in steam.

hi there,

i tried to extract all source engine (hl2, css, dods ...) and als source2007 (hl2ep2, portal ...) in one directory, but when i start one game i wont work

now my question: is it possible to play source and source07 games when they are in one directory?

This has been asked more than once, I should add it to the first post.

EDIT: Updated first post; I added an introduction explaining what a standalone is etc., updated the rev-emu section and turned 4. Common Problems in a FAQ (added the question there).

If you've got other ideas for questions, just post them; I'd appreciate it :wink: :) .

ok i mean i followed the thread on how to make a non steam game
i have got most of it im just unsure on how to crack the engine.dll for tf2

With rev-emu 120508 you don't have to crack anything and it works like a charm! :)
