Ah so I'll need to play with bots until a new version of Emu will be release.
Anyway, I think I'll buy it :)

You still can connect to cracked servers by using either cracked steam (serverbrowser available then) or use connect command in the console.

Sorry, this is probably a stupid and unneccesary question.

I've read somewhere that it's faster and easier to NOT extract the GCF-files?

But how do I make a standalone for example: TF2?

Can i follow this tut, but instead of writing:
[Emulator]
Extracted=1
Do I write something else?

Thanks!

EDIT: Noone knows, or noone wants to teach me?:|

Yep, it is faster. Doesn't fills your MFT and so on. If you want to do that use SBRev or UCL (both are linked in the navibar)

Ah, ok I will try them!

I have TF2 original, I understand that I can make a standalone TF2 game.

But can I make a dedicated server too?

I've downloaded the Team Fortress 2 dedicated server.

The reason for me wondering is because I need a cracked dedicated server and cracked clients for a LAN party... :P

Yeah you can. Two ways of doing that:
1. hldsupdatetool (I think there are links in the content list)
2. GCF-based (same procedure as described here)

You'll need VUP (or SteamClient.dll emu) and SteamEmu, but nothing else.

As-tu verfié tes GCFs? Normalement, il y a une steam_api.dll dans source 2007 binaries.gcf

You can look that up in CFToolbox.

Hello there, I'm thinking of doing a standalone version of garry's mod, but the problem is: If I make it, how will I be able to use hl2 content or css content, cause when you are using steam you need one of those games to run gmod, and btw, if garry's mod is updated in the (near) future, how do I make a patch for the stand alone?

Thanks in advance, sorry for my bad english =D

You need to create the folders hl2 and cstrike and fill them with those games. However you won't be able to play hl2 or css though, as they don't run with source 2007.

Check the game's launching parameters.
