Ok, I have the Left 4 dead Base and Binaries complete. The Sound NCF is not complete. It's stuck at 80.02%. I used Cafe Steam (thanks Fenny) to preload at first then used CFToolbox to complete the Base and Binaries NCFs and verified everything. Anyone have 100% for the Sound NCF? I just hope the unlock process is easy (when it happens). |

I guess I have to wait until the game launches, and then the rest of the files will get updated, right? Oh well, let's just wait and see.

Well, I can see the files in the Steam\steamapps\Common\left 4 dead folder, they aren't encrypted. So, even if we can't launch it with cracked steam, someone will make updates for us (I mean the cf toolbox update function) So, we are actually saving up time by preloading, hehe. |

Not all of the files are unencrypted. I can't get the commentary audio files to play using winamp. From what I can tell the CFG folder is also encrypted as well. Who knows how many files are encrypted and how many are not. I just hope I can get those files decrypted. |

I'm still having problems to download the sound and binaries even with the ncfs that bosmouz uploaded (thanks again  ) nahuel31 how did you solved the problem? cf toolbox won't download the sound and binaries and in steam the preload stucks at "starting preload..." thanks in advance.

so to clear everything up, once i have the the base .ncf, I can then download the rest throught CFToolbox or SMD and then we're all waiting to see if the pre-load will switch to 100% Ready on launch day? |

downloaded left4dead.ncfs(preload).rar in cftoolbox i always get a download error.. and SMD Steam says: steam servers too busy to handle request.. how you guys got the preload work ? |

OFF-TOPIC: Oh uh... Bad news guys...  Steam managed to caught my 2 accounts, the one I used with cracked steam, and the one I had legal games... So I'll have to create a new one... Damn you.... >__< Anyway, I was entering this thread again to tell that I didn't manage to download the whole game again. It's still not possible until the game launches. I'm not In a good mood about piracy right now... so I'll leave this thread. Hope you good luck, guys. |

Nahuel31, Sorry to hear that. Makes me a little worried now. You could try and say your account was hijacked and Valve might let you back in (doubt it). |
