To try to resume/complete a ncf/gcf file with CF Toolbox, you must have a (blank) account set up with CFT, as explained [url]here[/url]. Then right-click on the incomplete ncf/gcf and click Download->Resume. If it doesn't seem to work, right-click and "correct".


Your sound ncf is less than 80% complete after the patch above? Don't ask for a patch, get the sound content:






How to help:
Do you have the game 100% complete on Steam?
Get CF Toolbox, download the archives that someone posted, open CF Toolbox and set your SteamApps path. Then do this for every Left 4 Dead NCF file in the list (be sure they're all 100%):


1. Right-click on it in the list, select Patches->Make Update.
2. Browse to the archive file(s) and select the appropriate one.
3. Pack the created .update file that has been created to your Desktop with WinRAR and upload it on http://www.rapidshare.com, http://www.mediafire.com or any other filehosting service. Thank you!

Sound file still decrypting......21% But I think simonel has a valid file so maybe your archive is corrupt. Try to correct first....

I dont quite understand this. Now there aren't any .gcfs? Everything is in the common folder? Then why don't people upload the new .ncfs (since they're so small) instead of making patches?

Yup, my file is fine. I'd agree with Hasi, your archive is corrupt.

Cause ncf files alone won't help you anything, you need the ncfs + common folder.
