Please give me the following information:

1. How often does this occur?
2. What engine.dll are you using? (Please state if you're using a engine.dll that I did not post)

It's also possible that the error is from the host who is using a older or broken engine.dll file.

and creat server via console Cannot send to client info with NULL XUID!

hl2.exe + bat file and your new Engine.dll i get timeout after about 10-20s on local game

OK i've got it working with steam version needed some files from SKIDROW rls.

extract right fix for you and replace files, either steam or skidrow version then make steam_appid.txt "read only"

then login to steam and launch with .bat for steam version or left4dead.exe with skidrow

This actually works. But because you guys have so much dc's I'll give you my hypotheses.
I think you people get only dc's at servers where you have a high ping. And because this is a crack of l4d I'm guessing that you only get the bad servers.So far I had no luck with looking for an empty lobby. Only with games that were already in progress. Still a great crack.

Anyone found a fix yet for THIS d/c over here:

Whenever you try to create a new lobby game, and start the game (WITHOUT SEARCHING A DEDICATED SERVER, BECAUSE IT TAKES FOREVER AND NEVER FINDS ANY) the game simply disconnects the host and consequently every other players connected to it.

I think everyone using this method gets the same problem so it's NOT a latency/lag/high ping/pong issue or whatever

And yes i am using everything in order, .bats Hitman's engine.dll hl2.exe steam etc. I actually gave you this hint in the other topic lol anyway it's just a minor tweak and I was able to play normally in other (legit) players created lobby games nonetheless.

Hl2 bat, patched engine and changed appid are still having little to no difference in hosting a server just times out as soon as it starts.

I'm going to try out the "SKIDROW" release i'll post back when I test it.

What's weird about this is that I never get that, it always works...

Btw with you need to be logged into steam and have a patched steam running, not non steam.

Undeadpatch, it was working fine yesterday not sure why it's not working now..
