First: really great release, thx a lot.

Second: might be a thumb question but i'm a little "astonished" about the fact that i find a lot of language_subdir's except left4dead_german.

Has that a special reason? Could i play ur rls with german menues? German sounds i found, but i can't bring them to work when i change rev_emu.

Thx, but maybe i'm too fast. I didn't find the answer.

meanwhile i found one thing i didn't see before in rev.ini: i have to delete the # in front of Language=German

Now i have the Menues, subtitles and all these things in german, but they still talk english. I copied the sound-files from the first page as described, but i didn't hear german speaking. Yea i know the english one ist better, but my brother wants german.

Something i didn't recognize.

EDIT: Found it. I'm so stupid *g*. And i agree - the original sound is much better than the german ones. Forget it.

Splitted archives in 7zip-format must be opened at first part (l4d.7z.001)


For the last update (Lobby-Browser) u need to wait a little. RevEmu needs an update.

might be a stupid question, but are u using the latest 7-Zip?

And the next question is: are u using a 64-Bit system with the 32-bit 7-Zip?
I asked because i had a lot of trouble to extract files on a 64-bit system with
the 32-bit version of 7-Zip (yeah i know, stupid to change to a 64-Bit Vista
and trying to install old programs without looking for a 64-Bit version). But i
don't remember the exact failures. The only thing i remember is the fact that i
wasn't unable to extract. After uninstalling the 32-bit version and installing
64-bit all went fine.

You do not open .001 files. You must use HJ Split to join them. Afterwards, a .7z file will be created.

7-Zip 9.04 Beta 32bits + 7-Zip 9.04 Beta 64bits in TWO different OSs. The first supports 64 bit processor, but is with Windows Vista SP1 (all updates till today) and it's installed 32bits version, the second is also with 64 bit processor, but is with Windows Server Enterprice 2008 SP2 and it's installed 64bits version.

I've also tryid with WinRAR, WinZIP, HJSplit, but... same related errors.

Edit for uchida: I've tryid with HJSplit, joining them, but when the process ends, when I opened the big archive, it says: "The archive cannot be opened".

HJ Split works too. But its not needed because 7zip can handle splitted archives on its own. Just rightclick on the first archive (.001) then "7zip>Open". thats all.

Your problem is either related to a currupted 7zip installation or to corrupted archives.

the only thing i can say now is that i'm still using 7-zip 4.65, no beta and i had no problems
to extract the files as MIKM said

I tried a few things and noticed 7zip is more sensitive to incomplete or missing parts than RAR. If one part is missing i get the same error message in 7zip.
Maybe the last part .025 is incomplete. i cant compare because i dont have Cr@ck-IT's release here.

YES! Jdownloader says: part 025 is 69.86 MB. Your screenshot shows around 12 MB at the last part. redownload it and it should work!

I don't have Premium Account :), but also used before Jdownloader, nothin' was downloaded.

Downloaded part .025 again and it works :) 10x.

2 updates have been released since 2.1. Any news about Update v2.2 (comprehensive), which will include exact version: 1.0.1.4 (3908) ?

Nice release, but I have questions.

1. How do I change character?
2. Can this release mixed with Ogerlauncher to make hosting or joining easier?
3. If no. 2 can't, is there any launcher for this release?
4. Can I host with Hamachi and play with friends?
5. Do they have to use the same version or they can join with any cracked game?
