What are the main diffrences between AVSMP and Steamup!, concretely? (nothing about the coding side please or I won't understand)

(nothing about the coding side please or I won't understand) Here's one: When i used steamup by itself, Star Wars Battlefront II couldnt work. When I used ASVMP, the error went away and it works!

DEVELOPERS! Because of the last update platform steam client client can not find cracked servers. Make a steamup patching addresses of master servers (from a custom file masterservers.vdf or configuration file), as file config\masterservers.vdf by setti no longer used! Do not forget about "base source engine 2"!
