Nice  It crashed when I extracted and opened it. (Steam was open from its original location, there was no Steam.exe in MiSteam directory...) I'm going to try it with Steam in a minute. (Can't quit now, chatting...)

Yeah it will crash if not in the steam folder as it can't load and parse CDR for subscription list, there are no safety nets in there yet, it's just running by the seat of its pants!  I amended main post to make that clearer. Thanks

Oh, btw, found a big error in my blob code that prevented subscriptions being read, if you haven't fixed it already in revEmu then give me a shout and I'll PM you the fix, It was just something stupid in my code and it didn't effect app records collection anyway, just subscriptions.

Do we need subscriptions in revEmu anyway? I don't think we require those in there ;] since revEmu insists on "subscribed" for everything

I don't think we require those in there ;] since revEmu insists on "subscribed" for everything No you don't, it's not a problem in revEmu, but if you ever wanted to impliment the subscription api functions for launcher support, then you will need to fix that first. When I wanted to quickly dump subscription list I wrote some code to do it, tried it with revEmu and it didn't work because of no subscription api functions, tried it with steamemu and it doesn't work as hCUPa just returns one subscription with all the stuff in it, so I had to fix the code up before I could do it. So it would have been helpful for me if it worked, but as I wrote it in the first place, it looks like i'll just have to bitch to myself about that

You can download it with CF Toolbox and check it out. (uses steam_api.dll, had to use my cracked one to make it work with revemu) It starts in demo mode with revemu (also the same in semisteam, I think in steamup, too) Episode 2 starts correct with my cracked steam_api.dll and revemu.

Probably because they asked for subscription of the demo first, and since the emu returns "1" on every "subscribed" query, there ya go.... Maybe we should add NotSubscribed = xx, xx ,xx, xx INI option in rev.ini?

Good idea, also include a commented list of usually unwanted subscriptions plz. Like Dark Messiah of Might & Magic violence thingy (or am I wrong ?)

This is just a proof of concept, that's why it's in the Developer section.
Stick with semisteam,steamup etc for steam cracks.
