PeJpepiG
I posted it in my previous message.
css sci fi(smod)
http://amphibian.myzen.co.uk/css_sci_fi/
It works with legit Steam, so I dont think it is something with the mod itself.
Anyway why is MiSteamPrep searching for mods after preparation? Seems useless for me.
I wont test with more mods atm, since I barely play that smod thing.
I dont think it is my system its pretty updated.
DxDiag:
  1. Operating System: Windows Vista™ Home Premium (6.0, Build 6002) Service Pack 2 (6002.lh_sp2rtm.090410-1830)
  2. Language: Norwegian (Bokmål) (Regional Setting: Norwegian (Bokmål))
  3. System Manufacturer: Hewlett-Packard
  4. System Model: HP HDX 18 Notebook PC
  5. BIOS: Default System BIOS
  6. Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU     T9400  @ 2.53GHz (2 CPUs), ~2.5GHz
  7. Memory: 4092MB RAM
  8. Page File: 2698MB used, 5675MB available
  9. Windows Dir: C:\Windows
  10. DirectX Version: DirectX 10

Its not a big problem for me, since I can just remove the mod check, but if it can be fixed its always good. :)

Hey me again, first of all TY illpollow for telling me about the ATI/Nvidea promo i can play follow freeman now (i even Host a server) so ty.

But now the problem, a friend of mine wants 2 play follow freeman to I've used my old XP pc and it's ATI card to enable HL2:DM all of it works he now has HL2:DM BUT for follow freeman you need HL2 as well so in turn MiSteam he has al the MiSteam files thats in order, now the problem when he tries to install .NET 3.5 it's unable to because he does not have .NET 2.0SP1 now .NET 2.0 is installed but like it saids he needs 2.0SP1 but .NET 2.0SP1 is not supported by vista.... oke odd (2 me at least). what i have done in a desperate attempt is rar my framework folder (c://Windows/Microsoft.NET/framework) and unpacked it on his laptop (it has the new SP2 just like my pc) but MiSteam still does not work. My friend is ofline at the moment so i can't give you any error specifics but it was something in the order of "MiSteam is no longer available" I believe he said, plz help.

Sorry guys, had no time for y'all lately

I fixed that sourcemod problem some of you are having sometime ago, I'll recompile a newer build of MiSteamPrep sometime this week/weekend.

one question @MiSteamPrep

maybe u can add things like Name Cvar Enabler or the rev-emu serverbrowser plugin, and maybe u can add a little executable that allows u to change the name (in rev.ini) i know it isnt much work to open the rev.ini and search the name line, but no i often used rev-emu and of course GCFPrep/MiSteamPrep 4 lan parties and some friends had some problems to change their name in e.g. TF2, DODS ... so this would be cool. just a litte "tool" that shows u´r actually name, and a little field where u can write u´r name and than a butten with: Change name or OK or something like this^^ i think this isnt a big thing 4 u or MiSteamCrew

lumpi

The name can already be set in the options screen under steam options.

The serverbrowser is already supported - look at the documentation MiSteamPrep Emulator Readme.txt for information on setting up emulator modules.

The Cvar enabler may be worth considering in the future, what do others think of that?

Important information about MiSteamPrep 1.02:
If you get an Application load error 3:0000065432 for any game you have to remove the game's appid from "OriginalSteamClientAppID" in revemu.xml.
Hopefully this problem can be fixed in revemu soon.

Post subject:  Re: MiSteamSuite - Updated 26 JUL 2009

ALL,
I have had a report that there is a problem with MiSteamPrep 1.0.2 that may cause some NCF based content to not be prepped correctly with revEmu 9.79 that is included.

I will check this out as soon as I am back home and release MiSteamPrep 1.0.3 if necessary for you.

Sorry for the inconvenience!

If you are offline, or don't want MiSteamSuite to download the blob file from the steam servers then you can copy it into your MiSteamSuite folder.

As a default all MiSteamSuite tools that use this will attempt a download if it is not present.

adoriana
You are getting that because there is no saved password hash in the ClientRegistry.Blob file or in the file SteamAppData.vdf, there is nothing set for the "AutoLoginUser" line.

It's the SteamAppData.vdf file if you see this line:
"AutoLoginUser" ""

Otherwise, blame the ClientRegistry.Blob file.

Hello guys, fantastic program! Good work!
I made a language file for MiSteam (the default app). I'm going to make one for all the other MiSteam Suite apps...

Download:
http://rapidshare.com/files/261022687/M ... n.xml.html

If you've problem downloading 3 KB from rapidshare (XD) you can download it from here:
http://www.mediafire.com/?53ymunmzzym

If I did something wrong, blame it on me and tell me what I need to correct/do...

Have a nice day!
