afaik this game doesn't show up in Steam games list. You just have to install it (steam://install/8670) and then this free expansion should be available in Race 07.

How do I solve the "Failed to contact key server" error? I inputted serial keys in manage content registration keys, but I'm still having this error. The games that I've tried that gave me this error are Crysis: Warhead and Borderlands.

Sadly I don't have these games to test.

MiSteam doesn't patch the key server callbacks like traditional cracks that actually patch steam files which can do this and may work for these games. MiSteam works by putting the information (i.e. cd key) in the correct place for the key server to authenticate it. This method will therefore only work if the key check is done purely on the local machine.

I'm not sure if some games check keys remotely or have another criteria to their key server authentication, but if anyone can supply me with information on a failure of a smallish game, or more concise information on the workings of the keyserver then I can download and debug and it may be something we can correct.

*EDIT*
@iJunaid, can you confirm that you are using subscription 17330 for Crysis warhead as this contains the necessary key information for MiSteam to work? You can check if you are using correct subs for other apps by looking in MiSteamInfo to see if their state is eStateAvailable and that they contain registration key registry entries.

But i have .NET framework v4.0 and i even tried re-installing it still shows the same error.

You don't mention which OS you are using, but I would recommend installing both 3.5 and 3.5 SP1 to avoid future problems with oher apps as well. I've seen this problem quite a lot, it can happen if there is no .NET 3.5 installed or even 3.5 SP1 is missing when 4.0 is present on the machine.

Ok i will try to install .NET 3.5 and tell you what happens...

Quick question, why does Episode 2 keep crashing every time I start it?

Well at first it crashed after the Valve intro with no error message, then it crashes saying that materials/console/background.vtf is missing. Just updated episode 2 content.gcf, but after i verified it, it said it was outdated already.
