That should be fine, MiSteam was programmed to run on 2.0 but then I added some linq coding, hence the requirement for 3.5 nowadays.

So, Assuming you have the latest versions of MiSteam + MiSteamTools and also the fixes for both MiSteam and MiSteamTools, then this problem could be related to steam account access.

It may be that the Config\SteamAppData.VDF file in the steam folder is corrupted or contains a strange entry. You can try renaming that, logging into steam (you must remember the user) and then running MiSteam Again.

The only other thing I can think of is if there are there any unusual characters in your steam account name? It maybe that my parser can't deal with them but steam can?

i backed up and deleted SteamAppData.VDF and again run steam(undead patch).I entered userid & pass and set option to remember and started it then closed it.After that i started misteam, but problem is whichever subsciptions im choosing its showing only

Trying to download "MiSteamPrep Configuration Update Pack [14 JUL 2010]" I get the folowing error message:
"The selected attachment does not exist anymore."

Any help would be appreciated.

I tried to make a no steam version today and when I try to launch a listen server it says that I am in insecure mode.

BTW steam beta must be opened to find servers.

Can you fix this? Thanks

Should MiSteam be capable of removing specific subscriptions from the registry? If so, could it be that feature has been broken recently? :P

I'm getting .net framework error when i try to start misteam.
I have W7 32 bit and .net framework 4 client profile installed.
I downloaded MiSteam_1_0_2 and extracted it into a new folder.
Then i laoded MiSteamTools_1_0_3 and extracted it into the same folder.
But i'm still getting the error. When i click next the GUI opens but i don't see my account (sometimes before starting it asks for the steam folder and i select
the right one) but still the same error appears afterwards.
I realy don't know what to do anymore. I also did reinstall steam and deleted the SteamAppData.vdf.

I'll post the first three lines of the error code, dunno if it helps:

Valve screwed big time. After last updates to Portal I cannot change game setting anymore. I always get the message in console "couldn't exec config.cfg" Is there any workaround to fix this issue?

For some reason, I can not get Magic the Gathering Duels of the Planeswalkers to work correctly. I enter a fake key and Steam pops up with a message saying it "can not contact key server" when I try and play.

Can you check if the key has been added to the registry? (Should be somewhere in HKCU/Software/Valve/Steam/Users/%yourid%/keys/%appid%)
Does it work for other games that require a cd key?

For some reason it works now. Odd... The CD key I made up is working.
