i have a question about buil 4883 , it's just me or the servers are not registering on valve's masterservers ?
tested this with fresh build , no cracking ... game adrenaline gamer becase there are just a few of them and i could check really quickly and my server is not showing up in the list.
can somebody comfirm this ?
and maybe upload 4617 build lib's

In previous versions of the secure icon appears, now watch your favorite or server list and I see that appear insecure, it's from me or from dproto 0.4.7?
To the old version appear in the console: VAC secure mode is activated.

If I type "meta list" in console, my server goes down without any error. Why?

Hey crock, and forum users,
i recently downloaded dproto 0.4.7 and when i go to console and type meta list, it says dproto failed to load.

A: Start server with -console +log on +mp_logecho 1 parameters and look through console output. You'll find the reason there.

Yes i have tried that, but i can't seem to figure out what the problem is because everything looks fine and normal.
Is it something of the config that i've done that doesn't work?
And may i ask what is xds_opt_windows and what does it do. Should i install this for my server?
If you please could help me out i'd would thank you so much

You don't need anymore xds_opt if you have dproto 0.4.7/>

post md5sum of binary files from your root directory...
or wrong metamod version maybe ??

PS: dont forget to use the latest dproto.cfg

nevermind, it looks like sv_region was causing some trouble registering my servers on valve/setti's masterservers

Crock is would be great to add cvar SubServer_Hostname so it would be possible to change subserver's hostname.

Server drops clients with reason "Unknown HLTV client type." in two cases:
1) They have corrupted userinfo. In this case player should clean his config.
2) They're spoofed *hltv field in userinfo. It's not my problem that your players use old clients (below ~21 patch) that allows set fields started with '*'.

[RU] В обоих случаях нет. Я против засорения серверлиста фэйками. Если надо - ковыряйте исходники сами.

Well how in 3.0.7 there is no problem with HLTV UNKNOWN CLIENT ? and with 0.4.7 it is.

I mean with 0.3.7 players with patch 21 can join but with 0.4.7 they cant
