During my test, this tool was only fully working in LAN environment, but not over the internet. When I queried for server list from the masterserver it always returned nothing. Here's the log when I ran it on my server.

well, it seems to register correctly, but ... can u set the log level to trace so i can see the requests results ?
also, the game server can be sent by the master server, but ignored/hid by steam for some reason...

steamCooker

Can you instead show the format of the Server to Client masterserver ip list packet format ?

i think its 0xFFFFFFFF -> ID-> 66 'f'

i'm only needing this one, but i dunno if they are crypted or something, mind giving some light ? :)

Does this program still works ?

What i want to do is to host 16 CSS dedicated lan servers + 200 CSS clients with last revemu.

I want to allow clients to see lan servers in internet or lan browser tabs.

I tried to :
- host a server on 172.0.100.1:27015
- my client 172.0.100.2 have mastersserver launched (win32) + last css release by setti.
I used on the client the command : setmaster add 172.0.100.2:27011

But nothing happen

What about installing the missing library?

There is no library missing. RHEL/CentOS 5.x use glibc 2.5, yet the application requires at least 2.7 due to binary incompatbilities.

Things you can do:
- Send hatemail to Ulrich Drepper for being a retard
- Create a chroot with a newer glibc ( I wouldn't go for that )
- Build the application from source ( If it doesn't require any special headers/libraries, a simple 'g++ MasterServer.cpp' should do )
