Steam006 I don't know, but after I update the game everything fine. I can play the game without Error 51 I'm not using Rhythm Zone Full Game Updated to v5, but using cumulative update |

hi folks, would someone kindly post full instructions on how to get serious sam hd second encounter to work as i am having difficulty getting the game to start. the games starts and runs with Misteam but has a few bugs which causes it to crash regularly, apparently smartsteam fixes this but i cant get it to actually start. using Misteam at the moment, have added 2 reg keys, and using updated exe file. i have also posted this question in the serious sam hd second encounter thread on this website but i haven't had any luck. can anyone help please? thankyou. |

Thanks for this awesome Steam crack ! The achivements save,(though when you earn it,it doesn't show any message on the server or in steam Just downloaded L4D2 from a friend steam account,used your crack and created a listen server...guess what ? The server is cracked and everyone can join my lobby ! |

Hello vityan666 and syahmixp, I have a feature request regarding support for cracked Left 4 Dead (1/2) lobbies. Currently, SmartSteam (1.3.9) supports patching the Steam Client so the Lobby dialogs in L4D 1/2 work. It seems to do this by having the Steam Client believe the launched AppId is the dedicated server AppId. (510 instead of 500 for L4D1, 560 instead of 550 for L4D2) My minimal SmartSteam.ini to get working lobbies in both L4D1 and L4D2 looks like this: ----------------- [Settings] PatchLobby = 1 [Lobby] 500 = 510 550 = 560 ----------------- After setting the cvar 'mm_dedicated_force_servers [server ip]:[port]' on the client, I can create lobbies and connect to the cracked server, but eSTEAMATiON 2.0 RC7 refuses to accept the cracked client (Steam validation failed), even if I set all AcceptClient switches to true. When I set 'PatchLobby = 0' in SmartSteam.ini I lose the lobby feature, but I can connect to the cracked server over the console 'connect [server ip]:[port]', and I get identified by eSTEAMATiON as running SteamUp!/AVSMP. I believe this is because eSTEAMATiON expects the AppId to be 500/550 and not 510/560. I tried replacing serverside eSTEAMATiON with latest Linux RevEmu 3.0b and I got accepted on the server even with 'PatchLobby = 1', so I can now run lobby games fully cracked this way. However, when 'PatchLobby = 1' then the client username does not display in HLSW, though it does display on the serverside 'status' screen. Setting 'PatchLobby = 0' removes the lobby feature of course, but then client usernames get displayed properly in HLSW. So here is my question: Can vityan666 and syahmixp cooperate to get SmartSteam with 'PatchLobby = 1' to work properly with eSTEAMATiON? I suppose this would involve a serverside eSTEAMATiON feature to accept clients running the replaced AppId's 510/560. In case this would likely break things for other games, the feature should be switchable. Thank you very much for regarding this, it would be awesome if this was to work soon! PS: I am double posting this in both the eSTEAMATiON & SmartSteam threads, so both authors will more likely notice it. |
